What is The HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial® is a breakthrough in aesthetic technology that removes dead skin cells and impurities while simultaneously bathing newly revealed skin with hydrating, moisturizing serums. The ability to so effectively hydrate the skin is what separates The HydraFacial from all other skin resurfacing procedures.
The HydraFacial treatment is most commonly performed to achieve the following results:
- Cleanse and exfoliate
- Intensely hydrate the skin
- Correct discoloration, sun damage and wrinkles
- Extract impurities
A thorough consultation is an important first step when deciding if The HydraFacial is the right option for you. We thoroughly discuss your desired results and provide an honest, professional opinion on how best to achieve those results. We also make certain that you are a good candidate for the treatment, taking into account your skin type, age, health, medical background and other factors that could affect the safety and effectiveness of your treatment. All of our consultations are free and conducted with the goal of making sure that our patients feel comfortable, confident and informed about The HydraFacial.
The day of your treatment, please remove all makeup and lotion before you arrive.
Before your treatment, we will answer any questions that may have come up since your consultation. Every effort is made to make certain that all of your concerns are addressed and you are as comfortable as possible.
The HydraFacial is fast and efficient, taking as little as 30 to 40 minutes. Many describe the treatment as soothing, like a cool paintbrush moving slowly across the face. The treatment is performed at a level adjusted for your comfort. A hydrating mask is applied with steam and the treatment is finished with a blend of antioxidants and moisturizers.
You can put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after treatment.
Results do vary, but most people report seeing a refined, radiant and more even skin tone after the first treatment. Results can last five to seven days and sometimes even longer. A series of six treatments, one treatment a week, is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and oily or acne prone skin. After your first series of treatments, you may want to maintain your results with a treatment once every two to four weeks. During your consultation, we will thoroughly explain what results to expect. We also can customize a skin care product regimen that will help to enhance and sustain your results.
If you want to remove rough skin, reduce scarring and/or wrinkles, exfoliate and gain a more youthful appearance while intensely hydrating your skin, The HydraFacial may be the right option for you. The HydraFacial is gentle and approved for all skin types.

Insurance companies commonly do not cover an elective or cosmetic treatment like The HydraFacial unless it is performed to correct a medical or health condition. If you plan to use insurance as payment, we strongly suggest consulting with your provider to discuss if the treatment is covered in part or in full by your current plan.
The HydraFacial is a minimally invasive technique, providing treatment without the need for any surgical procedure, thus eliminating the possibility of scarring or other signs that a treatment was performed. During your consultation, we will thoroughly explain what results to expect.
